Gaby is a 1990 alumna of John XXIII College. Her son Hamish Hunter was part of the Johns 2023 Student Leadership.

Gaby’s husband Simon and brother-in-law Ben Hunter are also Johns alumna – and as a family they have upheld a strong connection with the College, and they are strong advocates for living on campus at Johns.
