Anne Dupe

23 Years Service

For more than two decades, Anne Dupe has been a familiar and much-loved presence within the John XXIII College community. What began as a single shift helping a friend at a Commencement Dinner grew into a remarkable 23-year commitment to the College, making her its longest-serving staff member. Throughout that time she became an integral part of daily life at Johns, known for her warmth, generosity and the genuine care she shows to students, staff and visitors alike.

Anne’s role at the College has always been about people. Whether working behind the scenes or welcoming and feeding residents, she helped create the sense of belonging that defines residential life. Over the years she has met generations of students and colleagues, many of whom she now considers close friends. Her passion for kindness, connection and community has shaped the environment around her and made her a treasured part of the College’s story.

Family and friendship sit at the centre of Anne’s life. A proud mother and grandmother, she finds joy in spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and extended family, as well as catching up with friends, tending her garden and enjoying simple moments together. Her long service at Johns reflects a life guided by compassion, loyalty and a deep appreciation for the relationships that bring people together.
