Chloe Chick

1998 - 1999

Empowering women and girls through storytelling, innovation and adventure sits at the heart of Chloe Chick’s work. She lived at John XXIII College from 1998 to 1999 while studying at the Australian National University, beginning a journey that would take her across multiple countries working at the intersection of social impact, innovation and storytelling.

Since leaving university, Chloe has lived and worked in six countries, collaborating with the United Nations, NGOs and international organisations on initiatives focused on community development and gender equality. She currently serves as Innovation Director for the UN-hosted Global Humanitarian Lab, where she works on projects that apply innovation and new thinking to global challenges. Chloe is also the founder of SisuGirls, a movement and children’s book series designed to encourage bravery, confidence and resilience in young girls. Her books including Fearless Frosty, Brave Beachley and Mighty Mira, share empowering stories that inspire young readers to believe in their strength and potential.

An adventurer at heart, Chloe has climbed major peaks, run ultramarathons in the Himalayas, and raised funds to support education for children in Africa. Through her work and life she continues to champion courage, connection and the belief that individuals and communities can create meaningful change.
