Lucy Moore
2002 - 2003
Educator and wellbeing advocate Lucy Moore brings a global perspective to her work supporting young people and school communities. She lived at John XXIII College from 2002 to 2003 while studying a Bachelor of Communications at the University of Canberra, following a childhood spent living in Indonesia and other parts of the world. These early experiences shaped her curiosity about people, cultures and connection, qualities that continue to inform her work today.
Lucy began her career in advertising in Dubai and Sydney, before making a deliberate shift into primary education, where she spent more than a decade working with students and families. She developed a strong focus on inclusive education, particularly supporting children with dyslexia and those transitioning into new school environments with limited English. Her work centres on building confidence, belonging and the foundations for lifelong learning.
More recently, Lucy has worked with the Grow Your Mind team, supporting schools across Australia to embed mental health and wellbeing education into everyday learning. She partners with educators and school leaders to deliver practical, engaging programs that build resilience, emotional literacy and confidence in students. Outside of her professional life, Lucy enjoys time in nature and with her family, grounding her work in a strong belief in connection, community and the importance of supporting young people to thrive.
